| Summer 1999 In the summer of 1999, Conexiones invited children of migrant workers to spent two weeks building, programming, and testing autonomous robots at Arizona State University. In cooperative groups students developed robots that addressed specific guidelines given to each group. In addition, students also designed company websites to present and market their robots to the community at large. By working with robots, the students learned mathematics, science, engineering and design principles. Student Group Work |
