Latino/Chicano Resources

LatinoWeb

LatinoWeb is a virtual information center for Latino resources. LatinoWeb's mission is to empower the Latino community by providing a gateway on the Internet where private, non-profit and public sectors can exchange information freely.

LatinoLink

LatinoLink aims to provide news, analysis, commentary and photo essays that explore the joys and challenges faced by those who call the United States home yet trace their roots to the Spanish-speaking Americas. We offer stories about Latinos and the political and social issues that affect us: immigration, bi-lingual education, affirmative action, life in the inner city and life in the corporate boardroom. We also publish stories that are simply fun to read.

The Americas are rich in cultural diversity. Spanish speaking Americanos can be found from the arctic oil fields of Alaska to the frozen ground of Tierra del Fuego. The United States is moving in a distinctly Latino direction. The city of Los Angeles is 56% Latino, Univision TV broadcasts worldwide in Spanish, Spanish language tele-novelas are as common as English language soap operas. Latino influence is everywhere, it is as much a part of the culture of the USA as apple pie and baseball.
